A Glasgow institution.
Scarinish have been involved from an early stage in the development of Bar Soba over the years.
Originally rooted in Mitchell Lane in Glasgow, Scarinish was invited to work with the Bar Soba Group in creating their second unit within the City.
Merchant Square, right next door to the Old fruit market was to be Soba's second home.
A two-storey urban Pan Asian Bar and Restaurant, with a more cosy private bar on a new mezzanine level.
Other sites designed Leeds, Edinburgh, and sites within Glasgow's Merchant City and West End.
Scarinish designed a further four Bar Soba units within the Uk. A key facet of the Soba brand is that in contrast to other groups, each Soba site is designed as a unique venue, with their own details and individuality.
We have worked on a number of Tom’s Kitchen restaurants collaborating closely with Tom Aikens to develop interiors that are warm, elegant and inviting.
Within each site, we decide on different areas for eating and drinking, creating different airspace for creating moods through the selection of furniture and lighting and finishes.
Designed lovingly by Scarinish.
