After lawmakers in France voted to lift a nationwide ban to sell and produce Absinthe in 2011, producers Pernod wanted a facility that would allow them to recreate their original recipe Pernod Absinthe within a new brand home.
Two years later, located in Thuir, in the Perpignan region of France, the Distillerie Henri-Louis Pernod was opened to the public.
Mindful of the fascinating history behind this infamous drink, we transformed the spaces along with 1751, to encapsulate the refresh Pernod wanted for the relaunch of Absinthe in the 21st century.
