Falls

Banchory, Scotland

Like the River Dee that flows beside it, Falls was conceived around movement, light and the changing rhythm of the seasons.

Set within the landscape of Royal Deeside, the restaurant draws its character from its riverside setting — the changing light on the water, the surrounding woodland and the quiet rhythm of a landscape that has shaped generations of visitors. Rather than compete with its surroundings, the design seeks to frame them, allowing the river and the seasons to become part of the dining experience.
