Edinburgh, Scotland
The venue spans 4,500 sq ft, over two floors. So we curated a plan to make one floor distinctly different to the next – one floor would exude exclusive intimacy, the other, exquisite indulgence. Both required varying elements of skill and surprise.
As an integral part of the grandiose Edinburgh Grand Hotel, we felt it necessary to make Lady Libertine as equally impressive. Starting with the lower ground floor, we’d wow guests with a nod to design’s art deco era. Simple black and white block colouring is prevalent throughout.
The art deco design adds to the sophisticated ambiance of the space. Home to a cocktail bar and other elegant private dining areas, including the hireable ‘Vault’ room, and a further mezzanine level – seeing is believing on the lower level. When ready to move on, a focal-point staircase sweeps you up to the more traditionally appointed ground floor.
The ground floor acts as a refined, contemporary wine bar, boasting large windows that overlook St Andrew Square; a stylish aperitivo bar can also be savoured here.
Capable of accommodating up to 150 guests, The Lady Libertine is a truly memorable multi-levelled bar and restaurant. We invite you to uncover chic like never before.
